Hei. Magazine

"Hei" translates to 'Hello' in Norwegian. One of my favorite places I have been to is Norway, and was immediately inspired by how environmentally friendly society is there. During the pandemic, discussion surrounding sustainability has become mainstream. Upcycling has become a cheap and sustainable alternative to shopping brand new. With everybody searching for things to do in quarantine, activities such as DIY thrift flip has become the latest fashion craze. This is inspired me to create 'Hei. Magazine' which is about upcycling and sustainable fashion trends during the pandemic. Some of the pages in the magazine is inspired by social media DIY trends as well as poster art. The magazine also includes mock ads, three interviews, and articles.
